The Amino Acid Analyzer S 433 belongs to a new generation of instruments for the determination of Amino Acids according to the well known reliable Ninhydrin post-column derivatisation method.
This Amino Acid Analyzer is especially designed for the routine analysis of physiological fluids (serum and urine) and hydrolysate. It can be either controlled completely with the help of a computer or works as stand-alone system. With old fashioned step-elution systems, 4 and/or 5 buffer solutions were needed. Now, due to the optimized buffer system, only 2 buffers for hydrolysates and 3 for the physiological samples are necessary. The buffer can be adjusted individually to the samples by varying the mixture of the buffer. The system S 433 includes an autosampler with cooled sample storage and partial loop fill technique without sample loss as well as a 2 plunger buffer pump, a dual beam photometer, a cloumn oven with active cooling capabilities, a ninhydrine pump, a four channel degasser and a refrigerated reagent organizer with integrated inert gas application system.
